The annual summer gathering pairs campers with special needs with youth who help campers. Partner Sports Camp focuses mostly on sports, but also features traditional camp activities such as hiking, fishing, crafts and campfire cooking. Every partner has an opportunity to gain experience working with a camper and understand the daily challenges each faces.
Formerly known as Camp Shriver, Partner Sports Camp is a cooperative effort of Douglas ESD and the YMCA of Douglas County. Most activities take place at or are launched from the YMCA, 1151 N.W. Stewart Parkway, Roseburg. The camp is open to students with special needs (ages 8 -21) across Douglas County.
Partners are volunteers who are essential to the success of the program. If you’re interested in volunteering, please access the online application here.

Donate to the Douglas ESD/YMCA Partner Sports Camp
