Preschool Promise Eligibility
Is my child eligible?
You must live in Oregon for your child to be eligible for Preschool Promise. Some school districts require you to live within their school catchment area.
Will my child be the correct age?
The child needs to be at least 3 or 4-years-old by September 1st of the beginning of the school year.
Is there an income requirement?
Preschool Promise (PSP) program is intended to assist families that are living at or below 200 percent of the
Federal Poverty Level in Oregon.
Does my household income qualify?
If your household’s gross income is at or below the 200% FPL for your family size in the chart below, you meet the income requirement for Preschool Promise. If you have additional household members living in your home, please contact the Early Learning Hub to determine income qualification. Please inquire if your income does not qualify.
The Preschool Promise Program is a high-quality, publicly funded, preschool program that serves children ages three (3) and four (4) in families living at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, children in foster care, and children from other historically underserved populations. The Preschool Promise Program is delivered in a variety of settings including centers, homes, and schools.
