Partner Sports Camp registration open to participants and volunteers
This summer Partner Sports Camp is celebrating its 17th year, July 11 -21. The camp is a cooperative endeavor of Douglas ESD and the YMCA of Douglas County where students with disabilities (ages 8-21) are partnered alongside students without disabilities. Participation is free thanks to generous sponsors and donors. The camp registration is open to participants and volunteers through June 1.
Daily activities take place from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at or begin in Stewart Park, adjacent to the YMCA (1151 NW Steward Parkway, Roseburg).
Staff and volunteers come together to ensure that everyone involved has a fun healthy experience. Campers and partners participate in activities such as basketball, soccer, kickball, fishing, swimming, volleyball, tennis and golf, while building friendships.
Closing ceremonies will take place Thursday, July 21.
