POSITION Cook Server
DUTIES Sutherlin School District is accepting applications for the position of cook server.   The position is approximately 36.5 hours a week (Monday through Friday), as scheduled by the food service supervisor.  This position is eligible for insurance benefits.
MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

 ·      Education equivalent to completion of twelfth grade.

·      Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card.

·      Valid Oregon Driving License.

·      Knowledge of proper methods of preparing ingredients and baking in large quantities.

·      Knowledge of methods of preparing food, including meats and other main dishes, salads, sandwiches and desserts.

·      Knowledge of basic kitchen utensils and equipment.

·      Ability to prepare mixes and bake in large quantities.

·      Ability to plan and organize food preparation and serving operations to meet fixed schedules.

·      Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.

·      Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees.

·      Ability to operate equipment found in school kitchen.

·      Ability to get along with children.
SALARY $15.36 per hour. (2023-24 salary schedule starting wage)
BEGINNING DATE ASAP
WORK YEAR 177 days approximately (Pro-rated for 23-24)
