Formerly known as Camp Shriver, PartnerSports Camp is a cooperative effort of Douglas ESD and the YMCA of Douglas County. Most activities take place at or are launched from the YMCA, 1151 N.W. Stewart Parkway, Roseburg. This is the camp’s 15th year. It’s open to students across Douglas County. This summer, due to COVID-19 restrictions, PartnerSports Camp is scheduled for Monday through Thursday, July 13-23, and will include at-home activities followed by a car parade and ceremony on Saturday, July 25.

Campers are encouraged to make short videos highlighting their involvement in the daily activities of their choice. Partners are encouraged to make videos to offer campers encouraging words. Campers and partners who submit videos will be entered into drawings to win prizes. Click here for submission guidelines.
July 25 (Saturday) CAR PARADE + CEREMONY
Campers and partners get to participate in a car parade. We encourage you to decorate your cars. Cars will need to line up at the YMCA parking lot by 9:30 a.m. The car parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will end in the YMCA parking lot where a brief ceremony will commemorate camper and partner participation. The event will conclude at 12 p.m. Due to health and safety concerns, participants must remain in their cars.

Click this link to view the schedule of previous activities.The annual summer gathering pairs 50 campers with disabilities and 50 partners without disabilities. PartnerSports Camp’s two-week schedule focuses mostly on sports, but also features traditional camp activities such as hiking, fishing, crafts and campfire cooking. Every partner has an opportunity to gain experience working with a camper and understand the daily challenges each faces.

Join our 100 for $150 Club, a donation drive to make camp free for all youth, and donate $150 to cover the equivalent costs of attending camp. Contributions for PartnerSports Camp of any amount are welcome and can be sent to Douglas ESD at 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd. Suite 110, Roseburg, OR 97470. The 100 for $150 Club donation drive push ends May 31; however, donations are accepted year-round. Thanks in advance for supporting our local youth!
