POSITION

Library (Grant Funded – Temporary 1 year position) 2 Positions - Middle School and High School

DUTIES

This position will be under minimal direction of the district certified Media Director or by a building principal.  The Library Media Specialist establishes, maintains, coordinates and supervises the school media center.

Employees in this position hold a primary responsibility for the media services and media center of the school.  Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining media services, which effectively augment the instructional program.  The employee shall provide training to students in library skills and assist school staff in the acquisition and selection of library materials.  Responsibilities may include scheduling and monitoring computer lab, and working with building staff and technology coordinator to ensure proper maintenance and operation of lab computers and peripherals.

SALARY

Pay as per salary schedule beginning at $13.68/hr.  Approximately 24 hours per week.
