Instructional Assistant

 

DUTIES

  • Works directly with individual students or groups of students requiring special instructional help to reinforce learning of material or skills
  • Assists students in regular, Title 1, Special Education and any other district or building instructional programs

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

In compliance with the Federal Act “No child left behind” applicants need to have completed two years of college (72 + credits) or have an AA degree or successfully passed the Compass Test.  Transcripts or ACCUPLACER & ALEKS (Compass Test) results are required and are to be submitted with application.

 

SALARY

Pay as per salary schedule (2017-18 beginning at $12.23/hr).  Approximately 24 hours per week.
