Coding & programming is quickly becoming the new literacy skill for this generation. Students as young as kindergarten have begun coding in class and educational toys are moving in this direction too, teaching ages 3 and up logical thinking processes. Don't just teach kids to code, work it into the curriculum. Example: kids can use Scratch or Scratch Jr to retell their favorite scene from a story.
