Author, speaker and educator Linda Karges-Bone will present a full-day workshop on Sept. 22 in Salem to teach the fundamentals of grant-writing for educators.
The workshop is designed to help teachers and districts secure funding for assistive technology and other special needs. Organizers describe it as “ideal for small groups who are interested in bringing funding to their creative ideas.”
The session will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at the Willamette Education Service District Marion Center, 2611 Pringle Road SE, Salem. Cost is $150, which includes lunch and a copy of the speaker’s book, “The Educator’s Guide to Grants.” You can find a registration form here.
The workshop is sponsored by Oregon Technology Access Program (OTAP) and Regional and Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments (RSOI).
