Feb. 14, 2020 - Registration is now open for the April AT-TIES Together Conference in Salem, which will bring together the brightest minds and latest innovations in assistive technology and therapy in educational settings.
Together, champions of AT and TIES work to transform educational settings into universally accessible environments that allow all students to learn and thrive. For the first time, this conference will provide the opportunity for practitioners in both fields to connect and focus on shared missions and expertise, in an extended three-day format.
The conference is scheduled for April 20-22, 2020, at the Salem Convention Center in Salem, Oregon. The event is organized by Oregon Technology Access Program and Regional & Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments. These grant programs are funded by the Oregon Department of Education and have been administered through the Douglas Education Service District for more than 30 years.
Conference strands will include Universal Design for Learning, Assistive Technology, Accessible Educational Materials, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and Therapy in Educational Settings, to support learners across their lifespans and across the state.
Early bird registration is available until March 13. To register and for more information, visit www.smore.com/zy295
