Dates are set for the 2018 AT NOW! conference, which takes place Feb. 8 and 9 at the Salem Convention Center.
The conference celebrates 30 years of the Oregon Technology Assistance Program. Keynote speakers are Martin McKay, chief technology officer and founder of Texthelp, and Phyl Macomber, author, education specialist and president of Make a Difference Inc. and Practical Assistive Technology Solutions Inc.
Topics for the two-day conference include: parents and professionals instigating change, make math digital and accessible, using research to provide better assistive technology service and Chrome as assistive technology.
Registration costs $245 for two days ($265 after Jan. 12) and $160 for one day ($180 after Jan. 12). For parents of children with disabilities, or students attending college full-time, the cost is $125 for two days and $75 for one day For Douglas Education Service District staff, the cost is $175 for both days.
The Salem Convention Center is at 200 Commercial St. S.E., Salem, OR 97301.
