June 27, 2019 - Oregon Technology Access Program and Regional & Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments are combining resources for an annual conference that brings together the brightest minds and latest innovations in assistive technology (AT) and therapy in educational settings (TIES).
This professional development opportunity will combine the best aspects of the AT NOW! and TIES conferences. Together, champions of AT and TIES work to transform educational settings into universally accessible opportunities that will allow ALL students to learn and thrive. For the first time, RSOI and OTAP will provide the opportunity for practitioners in both fields to connect at an annual conference to focus on shared missions and expertise.
The inaugural AT-TIES Together: Promoting Accessibility in Education conference is scheduled for April 20-22, 2020, at the Salem Convention Center, 200 Commercial St. SE, in Salem. Stay tuned for new and exciting details. Information on how to register will be released in the fall. Learn more about OTAP and RSOI at www.douglasesd.k12.or.us.
