Breakfast always tastes better when it supports a good cause, and that's certainly the case for our annual morning gathering to support the Early Intervention Council.
Bring your appetite to the Flapjack Fundraiser, taking place from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Applebee's in Roseburg. Tickets are $10 for a menu of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk, juice and soft drinks. The restaurant is at 2755 N.W. Edenbower Blvd.
All proceeds go to help fund training opportunities and purchase equipment for families involved in the Early Intervention program.
Tickets are available at the Douglas Education Service District main office (1871 N.E. Stephens St., Roseburg), the Early Intervention office next door, or at Applebee's the day of the event. Delivery of tickets can be arranged for those unable to come to the office.
Please make checks payable to the Douglas ESD.
If you'd like to help the council, but can't attend the event, you can still make a difference by sponsoring one of our Early Intervention families. To find out more, contact Tina Early at tina.earlydouglasesd.k12.or.us or 541-957-4836.
