UPDATE: Information night on creation of a local teacher training program set for March 23

Pacific University is coming to Roseburg this month to hold an informational session on beginning a local teacher training program in Douglas County.

The session is 5 p.m., Thursday, March 23 at the Douglas Education Services District office, 1871 NE Stephens St., Roseburg.

This info session would discuss the program possibilities offered by Pacific University if there is enough interest to start one or more programs in Douglas County.

Assistive Technology Training for Parents & Caregivers at Douglas ESD

The Yoncalla Early Works and the Children’s Institute are providing elementary staff with an exciting opportunity to participate in a training on Parent-Teacher Home Visits, an evidence based family engagement practice.  Participants could include preschool through 6th grade teachers, specialists, principals, and other school staff.
