Input sought by Jan. 16 for state's ESSA draft plan

The Oregon Department of Education is seeking public input on work it and others have done so far on a draft for the state’s plan under the Every Student Succeeds Act.

The document is intended to give Oregonians insight into the early direction of the state plan. Survey results will be reviewed by department representatives as they consider their next steps. The U.S. Department of Education expects the final state plan by April 2017.

The survey closes on Jan. 16. Follow this link to the survey if you would like to weigh in on Oregon’s plan.
