American Education Week is Nov. 14-18

Release Date:
11/10/2016

Bumper stickers tell us "if you can read this, thank a teacher." But you can do more than that. Go to http://www.nea.org/grants/19823.htm and find out how many ways you can celebrate American Education Week, which starts Monday, Nov. 14.

We know November is a crowded month on anybody's calendar, what with the general election, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and Black Friday. In addition. Gov. Kate Brown recently set aside November as Oregon Goes to College month. That's a perfect lead-in to the week dedicated to education, which is the greatest asset this country has.

So please visit the website for ideas on how to celebrate with artwork, social networks, photos and activities.
