Jan. 15 TIES presenter deadline looms

Take a few minutes this wintry season to fill out your presentation application for the Annual Therapy in Educational Settings (TIES) Conference, taking place April 7 and 8 at the Valley River Inn in Eugene. 

This year's topic will be "Combining NDT and SI for children with neuromotor challenges," by keynote speaker Lezlie Adler. Participants who plan to make presentations have until Jan. 15 to turn in an application, found here. These presentations will be made on April 8. First-time presenters are particularly encouraged. One presenter from each session will receive a waiver for the $190 conference registration fee.

Session topics may be research, consultation/inclusion, early intervention, evidence-based practices, lega/licensing, medical interventions, new therapies, scheduling/recordkeeping, specific conditions/treatment, transiition, team functioning and training others. There is a choice of a two-hour morning session or a one-hour afternoon session.
