Agency seeking three specialists for coming school year

We're hiring! Three specialists are needed to work with youth in Southern Oregon for the upcoming school year. The Douglas Education Service District has immediate openings for a speech-language pathologist, physical therapist and a school psychologist.

Specialists in these positions play pivotal roles to help break down and remove barriers to education for students with disabilities.

 

Candidates for these jobs will work with children from infants to 21-year-olds throughout our service region, which includes 13 school districts in rural Douglas County.

 

The Special Education team at the Douglas ESD has supportive leadership that encourages each individual's professional growth, supports autonomy and flexible scheduling. We also offer many opportunities for new and young team members to contribute in creative and meaningful ways. 

 

Located within two hours of both the Oregon Coast and the Cascade Mountain Range, Douglas County pairs the rugged and outdoorsy with regional culture, arts and entertainment. The Umpqua Valley is home to a growing and robust wine industry, established community cultural events and fishing, hiking and camping. The variety and richness of our environment are matched only by the friendly nature of our residents.

 

This full-time position includes a $10,000 signing bonus and a competitive salary. Candidates ready to do their professional internship are welcomed.
