2015 PartnerSports Camp Daily Schedule of Activities

The Douglas ESD/YMCA 2015 PartnerSports Camp begins this morning and will run for the next two weeks (not including Fridays). Parents wishing to see a full schedule may download the schedule HERE.

Here’s the schedule for July 21, 2015:

  • 9:15 - 9:45 - Staff Meeting/Volunteers Start Arriving/Set-up
  • 9:45 - 10:00 - Camp Check-In
  • 10:00 - 10:05 - Camp Gather - Thought for the Day (under group tent)
  • 10:05 - 10:45 - Group A: Basketball; Group B/C: Soccer
  • 10:45 - 10:50 - Transition - Water Break/Snack
  • 10:50 - 11:30 – Group A: Soccer
  • 11:00 - Group B/C Leave for fishing (1 bus & ‘Y’ van)
  • 11:30 - 11:35 - Transition - Water Break/Snack
  • 11:35 - 12:15 – Group A: T-ball (inside); Group B/C: Bowman Pond Activities
  • 12:15 - 12:45 – Lunch
  • 12:45 - 1:00 – Group A: Prepare to swim
  • 12:45 – 1:00 – Group B/C: Prepare to fish
  • 1:00 – 2:30 – Group A: Swimming
  • 1:00 – 2:15 – Group B/C: Fishing at Bowman Pond
  • 2:15 – 2:45 – Leave for YMCA
  • 2:30 – 2:45 – Group A: Shower/Dress
  • 2:45 – 3:00 – Come together for water break and closure under group tent. REMINDER: Group A: Fishing on Wednesday and Group B/C: Bring swimsuit, water bottle, cinch bag and wear camp shirt!
  • 3:00 – Bus or parents pick-up campers

  • 10:45 - 10:50 - Transition - Water Break/Snack
  • 10:50 - 11:30 – Group A: Leave for fishing; Group B/C: Basketball
  • 11:30 - 11:35 - Transition - Water Break/Snack
  • 11:35 - 12:15 – Group A: Bowman Pond Activities; Group B/C: Kickball
  • 12:15 - 12:45 – Lunch
  • 12:45 - 1:00 – Group A: Prep to fish
  • 12:45 – 1:15 – Group B/C: T-ball inside
  • 1:00 – 2:15 – Group A: Fishing at Bowman Pond
  • 1:15 – 1:30 – Group B/C: Prep to swim
  • 1:30 – 2:30: Group B/C: Swimming
  • 2:15 – 2:45 – Group A: Leave for YMCA
  • 2:30 – 2:45 – Group B/C: Shower/Dress
  • 2:45 – 3:00 – Come together for water break and closure under group tent. REMINDER: Bring H2O bottles, cinch bag and wear camp shirt!  Closing Ceremonies/Ice Cream Sundae Party (Families invited to Relays and Sundae Party)
  • 3:00 – Bus or parents pick-up campers

  • 10:35 - 10:40 - Transition - Water Break /Snack
  • 10:40 - 11:10 – Group Red: Craft; Group Blue: Soccer; Group Yellow: Basketball
  • 11:10 - 11:15 - Transition - Water Break
  • 11:15 - 11:45 – Group Red: Soccer; Group Blue: Basketball; Group Yellow: Craft
  • 11:45 - 12:15 - Lunch
  • 12:15 - 12:35 – Group Red: Kickball -- plays Blue Group; Group Blue: Kickball -- plays Red Group; Group Yellow: Choice of Frisbee, Ladder ball, Bocce
