The Promise of Oregon campaign is a public schools support campaign created by the Oregon School Boards Association. From OSBA's Promise website: “The Promise of Oregon is a public education support campaign based on two defining principles: Today’s students are Oregon’s greatest natural resource. Accordingly, we as Oregonians must invest in our public schools so the next generation can reach its potential. Join us – our state’s future depends on it!" The Douglas ESD is committing to produces this newsletter to highlight children, adults and programs in our local public schools. How often? That depends. How much do you want to show off our fantastic students and share your support of local schools. All local Promise students, adults and programs featured here will also be included on the Douglas ESD's website,Facebook and Twitter pages and submitted to local newspapers, TV and radio stations.
