Release Date:
5/28/2015

Click this headline and take five minutes to watch this video on the Statistics Lottery from the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading. Reading doesn't just open up opportunities for tomorrow's graduates, it helps mitigate barriers. With summer-time coming, it's a good time to remind our community that schools and teachers can't do it alone and aren't the only ones who can read a book, strike up a conversation or support a child's interests. Ask around your communities and schools to find out how and where you can lend your support. Check up, Word up and Step up to challenges of helping all our kids reach reading level by third-grade!
