May 27 Webinar addresses assistive technology for young children

Here's a great professional development opportunity for early intervention providers and special education teachers, as well as regular teachers, instructional assistants,specialists, administrators and parents. 

Registration is now open for a free 90-minute webinar called "Demystifying Assistive Technology for Young Children (0-5) With Disabilities." The webinar takes place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. (PDT) May 27.

The presenter is Sue Mistrett, director of the federally funded Let's Participate! Project in Massachusetts. The webinar will focus on the use of assistive technology supports and how they can serve as a bridge between a child's existing skills and activity expectations.
