This Early Literacy Grant was developed for early learning hubs to expand the reach of existing early literacy programs or implement new programs based on research-based practices. Ensuring that age-appropriate books are available for caregivers and parents to read to children increases early exposure to and development of a larger vocabulary. Other programs funded by our Early Literacy Grant included a dialogic reading training held in September 2014.
