Early Childhood Matters: Hub brings ECE expert to free, day-long training; registration now open

Early Childhood Matters! Our South Central Oregon Early Learning Hub is bringing Karen Ponder, early childhood consultant, to Douglas County to offer a full day training for early learning educators and community partners in Douglas, Klamath & Lake counties. Training will focus on kindergarten readiness, community collaboration and early childhood outcomes.

The training event is scheduled for April 10th at the Winston Community Center in Winston, Oregon. For more information and registration click here.

Karen is a nationally known expert who has been involved in all aspects of early care and education, as a teacher, preschool director, board member, teacher trainer and policy maker.

This training is free for residents of the South Central Oregon Early Learning Hub's region and is funded by the hub's Kindergarten Readiness Grant.

The South Central Oregon Early Learning Hub helps underserved children and families in our three county region (Douglas, Lake and Klamath) to learn and thrive by making resources and supports more available, more accessible and more effective.
